Learn more about what I do
I am a Curriculum Designer and Theatre Historian using the wisdom of the past to design the AI-enhanced learning systems of the future.

Bridging the Wisdom of Theatre History with the Future of AI.
I believe that great learning experiences begin in the professional relationship you are looking forward to having with your students. This is my fiftieth year in education. During that time, I have had many rich experiences exploring the intersection of storytelling, technology, and human connection. My journey has taken me from the dusty archives of theatre history archives – around Australia, the UK and Italy – to the challenging byways of Artificial Intelligence in education. While the tools have changed—from growing theatre industries to the setting up of large language models—my goal remains the same: to create a well-structured curriculum that engages and enables every student to learn imaginatively and resiliently.
Resilience & Expertise
The last six years have been my most profound masterclass in adaptation. Navigating a series of eight major medical operations didn’t just test my resilience; it refined my focus. It taught me that learning systems must be as robust as they are creative. Today, I use that perspective to help educators become Curriculum Makers who aren’t just technologically advanced, but have deep sense of the joy of teaching and learning.
Two Worlds, One Mission
I lead a professional life with many diverse interests that somehow spring from my curiosity on how the past can be ‘eternally present’ and the future is filled with a longing for justice for all people:
- In education: Through Curriculum Makers, I empower teachers to use AI not just as a shortcut, but as a creative collaborator to design world-class learning experiences. I design courses, write publications and give lively workshops on an end-to-end process for designing with AI.
- In implementing creative learning strategies: Through my research into theatre entrepreneurship, creative industries and the creative and management roles in a company, I uncover, share and publish the stories of how communities come together to listen and view live performance – technology is a key player in realising the experience and so over the years I’ve come to see the way that various technologies impact on the human endeavour and visa versa.
