Public Libraries Victoria states:
At the heart of each library is a world of knowledge, potential, and inclusivity. Each is a safe, engaging and empowering place that is open to everyone to enjoy.
As well as the physical items in a collection – books, DVDs, magazines, and newspapers – libraries offer access to a range of online resources, software, applications, research and learning tools plus public access computers, and WiFi. With all of that at your fingertips, it’s easy to see how libraries change lives.
Membership is free.
